I’m speaking at The Whitworth Art Gallery in Manchester on Saturday 21 August from 10:30am to 1pm (well I’ll be speaking for the first half – you’ll be showing your photos and talking, commenting and questioning for the second half). Alternative Camera Club is a new programme of photographic talks, discussion groups and critiques, co-curated by the Manchester Photography blog, and Ed Watts, who say: “Get away from stale discussions of equipment and techniques and concentrate on a more considered, conceptual approach to photography”.
