Went to Liverpool today to look at the scenery and eat my butties. I thought long and hard about how to picture the great fraternal bond between our two great, iconic, historic etc. cities – and came up with a seagull crapping on a cctv camera in front of the Liver Building. Good eh? Didn’t go to the Open Eye Gallery cos it’s shut. Didn’t go to The Tate cos it’s shit. Didn’t get chucked out of Liverpool One for not shopping enough cos the security guards weren’t bored enough. Also got a nice mention in the FJ Crome column in this week’s BJP. Apparently I’m an old friend of the column – which is enough flannel to keep FJ’s secret, secret.
