Photographing the Cyclocross racing at Todmorden is an annual tradition that stretches back erm… three years. The first year we had cold, last year was mud and this year it was mud and rain. And it was very dark – now I don’t like to talk about cameras and stuff on a photography blog, but even at ISO 1600 I was only getting slow shutter speeds – so shake and blur and noisey images were back in fashion. For a change I thought I’d use the 7-14mm lens, which if nothing else shows how close you can get to the action in cyclocross.
