A couple of years ago, I was searching on eBay for "atomic postcards" by chance or algorithm a postcard sent in 1937 from photographer Man Ray (an artistic hero of mine) to Roland Penrose (pioneer of surrealism in England, founder of the ICA and husband of Lee Miller) – The seller wanted £9, so I offered them £7 and came away with what turned out to be a snapshot of artistic history – Man Ray name checks the likes of Marcel Duchamp in a conversation about organising an exhibition. I naturally wanted to know more – Here's the full story in a new 28 page booklet, it's A5 landscape format, printed on 200gsm paper and stapled. It's available now from my online shop for £3.50 inc UK P&P and as always, it's also available as a free .pdf download.
