Stick yer stamps

I’ve blogged before about Steve McQueen’s ‘For Queen and Country’ campaign to have pictures of dead soldiers on stamps. This has resurfaced over the past week as the exhibition reaches London (and so the attention of the press) and a new book needs flogging. I put forward my own design for a stamp to mark what’s been done in our name and am still waiting for the Royal Mail to produce that. Their latest set of commemorative stamps features dead Kings and Queens – Here’s my re-design for the 81p Mary, Queen of Scots. Good night.
