… starts with a single step. Ms B, our correspondent from Stretford, reports (well sends me the Guardian clipping) about a protest march on the local Town Hall by supporters of Lancashire County Cricket Club. I’ll be trying to cover the start and finish of this parade in the same picture as the march winds it’s way from the cricket ground (on one side of Talbot Road) to Trafford Town Hall (on the other side of Talbot Road). Lacking any photographs of cricket matches, I’ll illustrate this posting with a picture from my new Mancunian Tourist Board series in the full and frank* knowledge that Stretford, Trafford and Lancashire are not the same thing as Manchester.
